What this website is built to, what has not been checked yet, and how to tell us when something does not work.
What we are aiming at
This website is built towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at level AA. That is the target we design and build against. It is not a claim of conformance: no independent audit has been carried out, and the sections below say plainly what has and has not been checked.
What is built in
Every interactive control keeps a visible keyboard focus ring, and focus is never removed. Interactive targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels. Body text is 16 pixels and the layout reflows to a 320-pixel viewport without horizontal scrolling.
Status is never carried by colour alone — a departure badge always pairs its colour with an icon and a word. Form errors show a message that is wired to the field as its accessible description, not just a red border. Expandable rows report their state to assistive technology rather than relying on a rotating chevron.
Animation and scrolling respect the operating system’s reduced-motion setting.
What has not been checked yet
Colour contrast has not been measured across the whole palette. Two combinations are known to need checking: warm stone on the oxblood bands, and secondary grey text on the warm paper and stone fields.
The site has not been tested end to end with a screen reader, and it has not been reviewed by anyone with a disability. Automated checks run against the site, but automated checks find a minority of real problems.
Telling us about a problem
If something on this site stops you doing what you came to do, tell us and we will fix it. Email info@alhilaltravels.com or WhatsApp +256 700 773535, and say which page you were on and what happened.
If you need information from this site in another form — read to you over the phone, or sent to you in writing — ask, and we will provide it. You do not need to explain why.
